Stockholm 21st July 2016: On 18th July 2016, ICE started providing the live copyright administration services to SABAM, the Belgian Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers. Both SABAM and ICE have been involved in an intensive programme which has resulted in the successful migration of SABAM’s repertoire to ICE. The launch of the service has given SABAM access to the broad international musical repertoire within ICE and will improve the flow of royalties to their songwriters, composers and publishers.
“For several years, SABAM has been making intensive efforts to increase the quality of its services and reduce its costs. Migrating our music database to ICE ties in perfectly with this strategy. Access to a standardised and authoritative database is a bet on the future from which our members will benefit very rapidly.” says Christophe Depreter, CEO of SABAM
“Over the past months SABAM and ICE have worked together as a team through the transition programme and achieved a very successful go-live. As a result, we are delighted to deliver our copyright services to SABAM, adding true value to SABAM’s business and their members over the years to come.” says Markus Nees, CEO of ICE Services AB.
